I'M SO BACK FROM CYPHER CAMP

PEOPLE !!!

What more can i say ? I can't lie that I have had fun during the camp and not to forget meeting new friends =D

Enough of the bulls yeah ! I'll blog through briefly bout my 3d2n stay in Cypher camp...

Day 1 (2nd Dry Run)

Lorry-d down to RP at around 12p.m. and waited for more Student Leaders(SL) to arrive.

Went to place our barang barang at Agora Hall 2 and also helped to transport boxes of water bottles for the SL and campers to drink.

Met up my previous gang which consist of Slyvester, Ester, Eleen, Charis, Shi Jie, and one more big sister ( i forgot her name =p but we call her da jie ) from the 1st Dry Run and we station our self tgt at one side of the hall.

The SL then gathered tgt to think of our SL cheers and also to rehearse for the mass dance again for F.O.P.

Afterward, we had like 5 hours free and easy period to bath and have our dinner. I DIDN'T KNOW THEY ARE NOT SUPPLYING DINNER !!!

Luckily i brought some cash, the gang decided to go Dhoby Ghaut to have dinner !!! I'm ok with it since we have such long breaks.

We headed to JustAcia for our dinner, they have free flow drinks and ice creams =) Yummy !

After dinner, we then headed back to RP to bath.
Slyvester brought his laptop and we watched Army Daze, it was damn funny ! ha ha !

Soon it was lights out and we slept till the next day.

Day 2 (1st day of camp )

After breakfast, we went to change into our Cypher SL shirt and meet up with the freshmens. I was in team 14(Wazzup!) and paired up with Akina who is my SL for leadership camp(Team Curry Nania) last year.

My group have 7 campers (Gavin, Siao Tong, Daniel, Irfan, Nadzirah, Sharinah, Ana ), we merged with team 15 for some ice breaker game (name and food they like to eat ), it was fun and funny !

After bringing my campers to put down their barang barang, we gathered into our team and were asked to design our flag on a "reused" camp shirt which is also our life shirt. Siao Tong was the designer inspired by Akina.

After that we were off to play our 1st mind games with Team 13(Virgins), out of 5 games, we won 4, Good job Team =)

Next, we had to teach mass dance to the campers for the F.O.P. and i guess everyone had fun.

Next, all of us have to go through the camp fire songs and cheer because we are having campfire later on at night and have our 2nd mind games straight after that.

After that, the campers are sent to bath and have dinner before the camp fire starts. Two of my camper(nadzirah and enna) went home because they have something on the next day. Camp fire was fun for me because most of the SL were very high but i think most of the campers did not enjoyed themselves because many things are cramped tgt and were tired from all the running and dancing.

we had some free time before lights off so some team gathered to play games and stuff.

The SL has some briefing and feedback session before heading to sleep for the next day event.

Day 3( Last day)

Woke up early for briefing and then lead my team for morning exercises and then have their breakfast.

After that the fun begins ! We have Water games call the cypher showdown where one camper have to wear a piece of newspaper and the other campers have to protect the newspaper from getting wet.

My team merged with team 9(black rose i think ...) because we were out numbered and formed team 9 (Mergers) along side with SL John and Fin.

Im sure everyone had fun splashing water at each other and throwing water bombs =)

After that we have the classic tug-of-war competition, it was fun and i had new tan which looks ugly =(
After that, the campers were asked to wash up and eat their lunch. We then went to plan for our team cheer for award ceremony.

My team won the "Most Hardworking Award" and im proud of my team =D

after some closing speech and cheers, the campers were release, had some chit chat and concerns with my campers, I had decided to go for F.O.P. because my campers seems to want me there haha oh well, i guess I'll see them there then. Wave good bye to them and when out of the hall for the final debrief and feed backs.

After the debrief, something funny happened, Tomy was found meditating and everyone were taking pictures and laughing at him hahas, we failed to take a group pic because "oh we were sad, when tomy woke up" haha
