Freshmen Orientation Programme
Firstly, sorry for not updating recently as you can see from my post title, I was away to help out for F.O.P.
Initially do not want to go for FOP because my CE point was almost complete but my campers from cypher camp wanted me there and i also couldn't bare to leave like tat from Sylvester and gang, so tats was the reason why I ended up at FOP and I did not regret one bit ^^
Adding F.O.P. to Cypher Camp, I have been in RP for almost a week but to be exact 6 days in RP!!!
Been to RP for 3 days for FOP, had little sleep because need to report to school early, lucky my pimples and decreasing rather then piling up =)

Day 1 (15 April)
Met up with Sylvester,Esther, Victoria, Charis at woodlands MRT. went to Mac to buy breakfast and took bus to RP. We were suppose to reach RP by 8.30 but ended up reaching at 9 plus. I was assign to team 3( Cannot Tell ) with Haris who gotta go work later on and I was left to take care of the team alone.
Was happy to see almost all of my campers from cypher camp to come for the orientation.
My school (SIT) has the highest intake this year again about 1092 students, our home base (the badminton hall) was about to be full and many students keep coming in and we have about 30 plus team with 25 students. It was damn hot thx to the OSG people assigning us to this hell place while other school gets air-conditioned places.
Without ice breaker, my team sets out to play the Principal's cup game, the team were abit quiet and not co-operative at the beginning but after some games, i could see their bond are strengthening especially when playing the wet captain's ball here water balloons are used rather then netball.

After the games, brought my team to have lunch. THX to the OSG people again, rather then assigning SIT to the nearest kou fu canteen, we were assigned to E1 to have our meals and sports hall was like so far away from E1 canteen!
After everyone had finished their lunch, I brought them back to home base to have a little ice breaker games, at least i know what are my team members name =)
In my team, i have Rosan, Belinda, Soonxia, Asura, Krystal, Taktak, Fairy, Hongquan, Rigis, SunGuitar, Pengxiang, Yaojiang, Kelub, Junhao, Anthony, Wilson, Jacob, Suresh, JoJo, Khair, Arvin, Darren.
We got 22 people, its like a class and I know i did not spell the name correctly but at least I still remember their name ! what a SL am I LOL !
The game ended at 4 and after collecting the RP shirt for my team, and then the freshmen are sent home.
After FOP, me and the gang brought some ice cream with the left over coupon from FOP and went to somewhere cooling to chill and talk before heading home.

Day 2 (16 April)
Met with the gang again and i brought breadtalk for breakfast, bus-d down again and again we were late. I went back to my team again but this time i only have 17 members =(
well, at least i have 2 new SL, yu man nd haziq(who needs to leave at 12) to help me manage the team.
Brought the team to continue the Principal's cup challenge for a few hours, im impressed by their performance although we have so few members and we score quite a lot of points before lunch and then returning back to home base to group them into their individual diploma courses.
Sylvester and me went to our Interactive & Digital Media (DIDM) group, we were sent to our building where most of the media equipment were. It was insightful for Sylvester and me especially the Mac PC haha!
Brought the DIDMs back to home based and soon the Tug of war begins. Our school won 1 but lost 2 games but i know they had put in their effort. Baky and I was choosen among all SL to team up with other SL from different school to compete with the school management team, we tried our best but did not win because they have 3 big Ah Mo-s in the team!

After that the year 1s were grouped into 3 groups, the mascot team, war cry team and Domino Ripple team. I was in the war cry team to teach the RP war cry for the next day event where all school compete with each other. During War cry ... one of the year 1 student, Eddie said to me that I was the best SL. I shy seh he like that tell me, whether its true or not, im still happy about it hahas, this is what all SL want to hear isn't it=)

After FOP, me, Sylvester, Esther, Victoria and Charis went to E1 canteen to have dinner and dessert with the left over coupon from FOP.
We then went to CWP to watch "17 again" while Charis headed home because she is tired. it was damn funny and we laughed all the way till the the movie end, it was that damn good !

Day 3 (17 April)
Had to wake up early because im going to be the facilitator for the 1st time for the year 1 students ! Was Facilitating in W35C with shi jie's friend, Christin and cherry who left awhile later. Had icebreaker games, quiz and some presentation about RP with W35C, Sylvester and gang joined in later because they do not have class to facilitate. After class, we went out to wait for Elain to finish her class, we spotted someone next to my class, KIM from the 1st campus superstar and we got into the class to "disturb" her, lol so bad. We initially wanted to take pic with her but she left quickly hahas.
Went back to home base to teach the whole of SIT the war cry before bringing my team for lunch breaks.

This time, my team were quite noisy haha, while i was eating, most of them keep asking me questions compare to the past two days, almost could not finish my meal on time hahas. I dun blame them but in fact im glad they were serious about asking questions and took my advice.
After break, we went back to home base to do the Domino Ripple where everyone has to carry a booklet and make a pattern, everyone were tired, thirty and soaking with sweats while doing it. Sorry guys, have to make you all suffer.
After that, me and the gang went down with a facilitator to get drinks for the SL but in the end we ended up eating finger food with the left over coupon while the facilitator bring the whole drinks to home base, he have the trolley anyway haha.
Afterward, we went to the RP lawn where the Domino Ripple is held, during our school turn, i was pulled in to carry a 75kg Kelvin on my shoulder with the help from other SL, i swear my back bone was gonna break anytime when he start shaking around to lead and give command for the domino ripple.
After that we guide the war cry people to one corner to have a small rehearse and when it was our turn to perform.

Everyone were screaming their lungs out when doing the cheers but the MC stopped us because of time constrain. We did not have the mass dance we practise so hard fr because ipod could not be used but a CD is needed. Almost all SL were very emo but seeing the students enjoying themselves put a smile on my face =)
Im really happy when one of my camper, SiaoTong said she had fun and said we did a good job even though we came in last.
Had party and dinner afterwards, me and gang did not join in the jam and hop and went to some where to chill and talk. Almost all of us were passionate to become Committee for Cypher so after we have collected our belonging from home base, we went to cypher club room to talk to the president of Cypher to see how we could join the committee.
After that, we walked back to woodlands MRT, Esther got hit by a some metal object on a "golf car"(i dunno the name but u will see it in big golf court). Thought she was about to cry but she ended up joking and saying lucky she got fats if not she will die. The impact was loud and i felt sad to see her in pain, hope she is ok. The rider also damn stupid, the path got people walking but they still drive so fast, stupid people.
Headed home to bath and slp straight away, was totally knocked out haha.

I realise i had bruises here and there when i was bathing, i think the year 1s been hitting and punching me all along throughout the camp lol. Poor me !!!

Anyway through this camp and orientation I had fun and met new friends along the way so for the last time...
